These musicians have been playing out in various lineups in and around Portland for almost fifteen years, entertaining people with good time beer drinking music. Rock, country, folk, blues, pop and jazz are just some of the different styles that we draw from. We play originals and covers that are both familiar and unexpected. The lineup is: Christian Groth on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Russ Miller on electric guitar, and Tim Acott on standup bass. I’ve been playing in Portland for thirty years with several bands beginning with an Irish folk band. Tim Acott has been playing bass in many Portland bands (Jim Boyer Band, Kung Pao Chickens, Annette Lowman Trio) for 35 years. Russ Miller has also played in Portland for 35 years in bands such as The Belmont Street Octet, Ghanaian drum master Chata Addy, and saxophone legend Reggie Houston.
